Operating Cloud Foundry Across Multiple Datacenters - Sam Bryant and Prateek Mehrotra

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Cloud Foundry does a great job at providing high availability within 1 Foundation instance – but how do you achieve HA across multiple datacenters ? This talk will provide a real end user experience of how Cloud Foundry is being used across two datacenters, ensuring applications endure no downtime and the platform service itself is available during upgrades. The talk will explore the benefits of using a software defined network supported by load balancers when managing the network traffic to multiple CF instances, whilst raising the challenges around further platform capabilities such as closer integration with SDNs and replicated data stores.
