Keynote: Building a Platform for Government Innovation - Diego Lapiduz

Government software development is undergoing a revolution from waterfall, slow processes to agile, customer-centric design and architecture. Deployment has been lagging behind and becoming a bigger hurdle for innovation. The standard government security approval model has proven to be slow and the preferred solution seems to be limiting the stack developers can work with. Instead of reviewing the whole stack (provisioning, configuration and application) for each project, we can take a layered approach and review the Cloud Foundry installation once and then authorize the application at the code level. This talk will show how Cloud Foundry is helping to centralize security, speed up approvals, create a developer friendly environment and increase velocity.
